Vision
We are women and followers of Jesus who desire to know Him more deeply and to become more fully formed into His likeness. Through Scripture, prayer, thoughtful conversation, and authentic community, we seek to behold Christ so that we may see ourselves, one another, and the world more faithfully.
Mission
BORNE — Our Identity: Receive, Behold, Become, Bear
1. He carries us. Isaiah 46:3–4
"Listen to Me... you whom I have upheld since your birth, and have carried since you were born... Even to your old age I am He, and to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save."
2. We behold Him and are transformed. 2 Corinthians 3:18
"And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit."
3. He makes us new and sends us. 2 Corinthians 5:17–20
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to Himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation... Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us."
4. We carry one another. Galatians 6:2
"Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
