This week, #JesusMen, our goal is to deepen our spiritual disciplines and practices. Our activities include not just attending but actively participating in both Sunday and Mid-Week services. During commutes or routine tasks, we're choosing to listen to the audio Bible, focusing on the book of Galatians. Instead of tuning into shows that promote atheistic or nihilistic views, we're choosing uplifting content like "The Chosen." We're also dedicating ourselves to learning what we can from esteemed Bible teachers like Chuck Missler, specifically from his "Learn the Bible in 24 Hours" series. Moreover, we're committed to setting aside time for reading the Bible, with a focus on John chapters 6 to 10, and engaging in prayer, which involves both speaking to the Father and listening for His guidance (HBO).
#JesusMen, below you will find 7 ideas that we would like you to consider this week.
Presented above is a sample schedule for illustrative purposes. Feel free to adjust it according to your preferences. The objective is to approach this week with a fresh perspective and engage in new activities. Our aim is to evolve our temporary commitment into enduring habits, thereby fostering a structured and disciplined spiritual life through regular practice and active participation.

PRAYER TO CONSIDER THIS WEEK (Adapted from John 6-10)
Father, God, Eternal One,
I thank You for the provision You have provided, continue to provide, and will yet provide. Father, help me to trust in Your allotted provision for my life, and help me to recognize that You care for my physical and spiritual needs. Just as You cared for the multitudes with just a few loaves and fishes, my provision is also safely in Your hands.
Abba, just as Jesus walked on water and calmed the storm, grant me the faith to believe that You are with me in life's turbulent times, empowering me to overcome my fears and doubts, helping me to calm the storms around me, and to walk over the darkness seeking to consume me.
YHWH, inspire me to seek and savor the true bread of life, Your Son, Yeshua, Jesus Christ. May His words nourish my soul, bringing me wisdom, joy, and eternal life. Help me to discover, deeply understand, and live by the truth that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from Your mouth.
In moments of blindness, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, I pray for Your healing touch through the Holy Spirit. Illuminate my path with Your light, that I, and those around me, might see Your truth clearly and walk in Your ways.
Teach me to rest, to be at peace, and to listen for Your voice, recognizing You as the good shepherd who leads me with love. May I follow You with trust and obedience, knowing that You offer safety, guidance, and the promise of never being snatched from Your hand.
In every aspect of my life, let me reflect Your love, compassion, and truth to those around me. Father, I ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the bread of life, the light of the world, the good shepherd. Amen.
*Remember to only pray prayers that resonate with you and with which you genuinely agree. Feel free to edit this prayer, adapting it to your own words, engagement style, current situation, and the feelings of your heart.
#JesusMen, the book that we are reading this month is "Marriage on the Rock." Head on over to colg.org/marriage for more information or to dive deeper into the topics presented in the book. #JesusMen, it's startling to realize that half of all people don't read even a single book in a year. Let's ensure we stand apart from this statistic. This year, let's embark on a journey together to read a book each month, aiming for a total of 12 books a year. Achieving this goal will place us among the nation's most avid readers. Join us in setting a new standard and enriching our minds and spirits through reading.
#JesusMen, let's make this week impactful by Hearing, Believing, and Obeying. The truth is, your fellow #JesusMen need your support. Please, be generous with your knowledge, skills, abilities, and resources this week. Keep in mind John 13:35 "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” This week let's find someone at church to love in a way that is both meaningful and impactful to them.
