Today you will be praying and going out on outreach.
Outreach is God's idea; he sent his first disciples out two by two.
Prayer.
We pray to move from our strength into God's strengths. It's so important to understand that we are not called to do the work of making disciples on our own and in our own strength. We are called to do the work in his strength and that happens during powerful prayer times. Prayer Is the engine to evangelism.
We pray five specific prayers: Spirit-Led, Atmosphere Shifting, Chain Breaking, Fill the Nets and Send the Laborers.
Outreach.
We Believe that the Original call never changed. Jesus said “I will make you a fishers of men” so we live our lives as Full-time Christians to fulfill His call.
Mark 6:7-13 ESV
“And he called the twelve and began to send them out two by two, and gave them authority over the unclean spirits. He charged them to take nothing for their journey except a staff—no bread, no bag, no money in their belts— but to wear sandals and not put on two tunics. And he said to them, “Whenever you enter a house, stay there until you depart from there. And if any place will not receive you and they will not listen to you, when you leave, shake off the dust that is on your feet as a testimony against them.” So they went out and proclaimed that people should repent. And they cast out many demons and anointed with oil many who were sick and healed them.”
Luke 10:1-2 NLT
“The Lord now chose seventy-two other disciples and sent them ahead in pairs to all the towns and places he planned to visit. These were his instructions to them: “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”
Success.
Our success today is to be obedient to the great commission and to go and share the gospel with people in this city.
Goal.
Our goal today is to make disciples. As you are out today sharing with people please be inviting them to Church. If you lead somebody to Christ or meet somebody that is hungry to know more, invite them.
Follow up.
As you go out today get people's information and phone numbers so that you can follow up with them. Start a discipleship list so that you can keep track of all the people that you meet and continue to invite them to come. It may take a few weeks for them to come.
Equipping.
We believe that every believer should have the love of God in their heart, the power of God in their hands and the ability to articulate the gospel with their mouth. So we utilize 33rd Company's Full-Time Christianity Course.

On outreach we lead with the Gospel here is a helpful gospel guide to help you get started until sharing the gospel becomes natural for you.
Conversation Starter.
Hello my name is _____, I’m out today looking to share the Gospel with people. Would you have 2 minutes for me to share the gospel with you?
Hello my name is _____, we just spent time praying at our church and are now out looking to pray for people and share the gospel with people. Do you have a minute for me to share with you?
Hey, I want you to know that Jesus loves you. Can I pray for you in any way?
- After you pray then ask if you can share the gospel with them.
Engaging Questions.
Do you believe that God created you to be in a relationship with you?
- If they say “yes” ask the next question.
- If they say “No” ask if you can share your testimony or pray for them and invite them to church.
Do you believe that sin has messed that relationship up?
- If they say “yes” make the gospel statement.
- If they say “no” take time to talk about the gospel and sow seeds. Be led by the Holy Spirit and ask good questions. Remember it's not our job to convince people that they are sinners its our job to love people well.
A definition of sin if someone asks what sin is.
Sin is when you hurt yourself or another, but it’s more than just a bad action, it's the brokenness within all of us that caused the bad action in the first place, and sin by nature separates us from others and God relationally.
Verses:
Romans 3:23 NLT For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of Gods glorious standard.
1 John 3:4 NLT “Everyone who sins is breaking God’s law, for all sin is contrary to the law of God.”
Gospel Statement.
Jesus is the answer to the sin problem, He came from heaven to earth to make a way for you to come into relationship with God.
Jesus said in John 3:3 that you must be born again to enter into the kingdom of God.
John 3:3 ESV
“Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.””
How are you born again and saved? Romans 10:9-11 tells us.
Romans 10:9-11 ESV
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.””
When you are born again and saved you are born of the spirit of God and transformed from one kingdom to another.
Colossians 1:13 NKJV
“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,”
Decision.
Do you want to make a decision to follow Jesus today and to be born again?
It's important to understand that salvation is not only a prayer. It's coming into a relationship with Jesus and following him for the rest of your life.

“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”
